Cold Front Technologies Asia, Inc. provides, installs and services refrigeration, ventilation and air-conditioning systems (RVAC) for retail, mixed use, commercial, multi-residential and industrial applications. Our technicians are trained in the proper installation, maintenance and repair of these various systems, regardless of the brand or the original supplier.
Cold Front also retrofits, replaces and/or rehabilitates existing air-conditioning systems, depending on the customer’s requirements and operations impact.
Most residential and multi-residential customers prefer the single split-type equipment consisting of an indoor air-conditioning unit (ACU) and an outdoor condensing unit (CDU). These are much quieter and more energy efficient than the older window-type AC. Efficiency is further boosted with the addition of an inverter. Other new options include allergy reduction filters, infrared motion sensor controls, and ultrasonic wave mosquito repellants.
Cold Front offers the latest innovation on these systems called multi-split. These combine up to 5 ACUs for each 1 CDU. This configuration saves on electricity cost, installation, and space allocation. It’s an ideal solution for multi-residential properties, townhouses, or estate homes.
Cold Front introduces a unique solution for convenience stores: a system combining both the air-conditioning units (ACU) and the refrigeration showcases on one condensing outdoor unit (CDU). The CDU – with its high-efficiency inverter compressor, artificial intelligence control, single piping multi technology and cross-communicating controller – can efficiently and effectively cool several ACUs and several refrigerators simultaneously.
Mid to large-scale facilities require more complex and greater capacity systems that must be fully customized for maximum efficiency and optimal performance.
These centralized cooling systems use a combination of chillers, air handling units (AHU) and fan coilunits (FCU). Cold air is dispersed via ducting networks -- whether rigid, flexible, sacs, or a combination. There are two types of centralized air conditioning solutions: air cooled or water cooled. Air cooled systems remove heat from the unit by pushing it into the air outside.
Water cooled systems use water instead to remove heat.
Air cooled are used in small to large-scale applications but water cooled are only used in mid to large-scale applications due to higher capitalization cost due to addition of cooling towers and water pumps. But since water is a more efficient medium, lower operation costs offset the initial capitalization.
Cold Front is one of the leaders in the installation, retrofit and rehabilitation of these centralized air-conditioning systems
